I have an appointment but cannot make it. What should I do?
We understand that life happens! Sometimes things come up that require a change in your schedule. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a possible cancellation fee. Please have a read of our full cancellation policy here.
What is the best way to get in touch?
You are welcome to call us on 0422 860 686 or email ae@aebodybar.com.au. Alternatively, you can submit a message here. We may not be able to answer immediately if we are with another client however we will get back you to as soon as we can.
I am currently pregnant. Do you offer pregnancy massage?
Unfortunately we do not have formal training in pregnancy massage. We recommend booking a facial treatment as these are all pregnancy safe, including the foot facial treatment.
Why do I need to have a consultation before a microneedling treatment?
Microneedling is an advanced skin treatment that works by stimulating the body’s own wound healing processes in order to stimulate collagen production. The results are dependent on many factors including the health of your skin therefore we like to make sure our clients have a strong healthy barrier before performing this treatment and home care routine that is going to give optimal results.
I have heard about corneotherapy but am not sure what it means. Can you please explain it to me?
Corneotherapy is a term that describes the practice of treating the skin in a way that supports it’s natural functions, rather than stripping or continually over-exfoliating it. It is a more holistic approach that recognises that our skin is our largest organ and is capable of performing all of the functions it is designed to, when it is healthy and supported.
What is LED and how will it benefit my skin?
LED is a non-invasive light-based therapy treatment that uses targeted wavelengths of light to treat specific concerns within the skin. Led is suitable for most skins and can treat many skin conditions including acne, pigmentation, rosacea and aging. The results are accumulative and a course of regular treatments are recommended to achieve optimal results.
Can my friend and I have a treatment at the same time?
Yes, we have the capacity to perform two treatments at the same time. If you would like to make a booking together, please give us a call to arrange this.
How long will it take for me to see results with my skin treatments?
It is difficult to provide a definite answer to this question because there are so many internal and external factors that affect the way a skin responds to treatments. One facial will leave your skin feeling glowy, hydrated and healthy but is unlikely to create a significant difference in a skin condition (like acne, for example) because consistency is key when it comes to skin health so we always recommend a course of treatments as well as a good homecare routine that includes both internal and external support, in order to achieve results. Your individual goals and expectations can be discussed in more detail during your in-depth consultation.
